Dear Friend of Scouting,
Thanks to the generous donation from just one individual, last summer a young man found a great adventure and new experiences that he could only find in Scouting.
Thousands of generous gifts like these make it possible for boys to spend their first night sleeping beneath the stars at Boseker Camp Reservation – Home of Camp Emerson and Camp Wiley, to tie a taut-line hitch for his Second Class Rank, and sing campfire songs with dozens of new friends.
Those experiences will last a lifetime as fond memories, but they also imparted everyday skills he would not have learned without the support of numerous individuals. Whether it was the importance of having a good attitude, the courage to try new things, or the chance to look back one day when he teaches his son to tie a taut-line hitch; those memories and values were thanks to their generosity and willingness to do a good turn.
Your help is needed to ensure that we can continue to offer the values and leadership that Scouting reinforces or in many cases teaches. Please take a moment to do a good turn, and support young men by making a Friends of Scouting donation for the 2017 calendar year. It’s worth your investment!
With my deepest gratitude,
