Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the

 Boy Scouts of America

 

July 26- August 4, 2010

Caroline County, Virginia

 

ELIGIBILITYBoy Scouts and Varsity Scouts must be at least First Class Scouts. They must have completed the sixth grade or be at least 12 years of age by July 1, 2010, but not have reached their 18th birthday by August 4, 2010. All Boy Scouts and Varsity Scouts selected to to attend must participate in all pre-Jamboree training experiences; file a complete Personal Health and Medical Record prior to the pre-Jamboree training; have been active in a troop or team for at least six months prior to July 1, 2010; and be selected and approved by the California Inland Empire Jamboree Committee.

OUR CONTINGENT will consist of 4 troops consisting of 36 Scouts and 4 leaders, selected from applicants from throughout the Council area. A Council Jamboree Committee consisting of experienced Scouting leaders from all parts of the Council, most of whom who have attended previous Jamborees as leaders and staff, will support the troops and will provide services such as leader and Scout selection, budget and finances, tour and travel, troop equipment, personal equipment, pre-Jamboree training, and publicity.

FINANCIAL DETAILS: Reserve your place now on the list with a $200.00 deposit along with your application 

The total cost is $2,800.00 and includes transportation, meals and lodging in route to and from the Jamboree, special patches, duffle bags, patrol and troop equipment, a Jamboree training weekend and a sight-seeing trip of the many fun, exciting and historic sites in the Washington, DC and northern Virginia area. The Jamboree Committee has selected an educational and fun-filled tour, which will take place before arriving at the National Jamboree.
