It is with sadness that I advise that Mike Harris has died. Mike was a Silver Beaver, Silver Antelope, and Silver Buffalo scouter from our council. He served on our executive board for many years. He was a member of the National Executive Board of the BSA and had served as the Chairman of the National Court of Honor.

Services for Mike Harris will be held at 1:30 on November 21, 2017 at The Church of St. Paul in the Desert. The church is located at 125 W. El Alameda, Palm Springs. A reception at O’Donnell Golf Club will immediately follow the service.

Arrow of Light

The Arrow of Light Scouts of Cub Scout Pack 346 are busy working on their final requirements to received the highest award in Cub Scouts - the Arrow of Light.  Last month Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez met with the seven Scouts of the den at the Canyon Lake Lodge.  The boys had the opportunity to hear about Mrs. Melendez's career in the Navy, her journey into California government, the process of lawmaking in Sacramento and to ask questions of the Assemblywoman.
